Performance Mine Mechanical are a busy and well-established heavy-duty mechanical workshop servicing mining, civil and industrial clients.

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee major overhaul of underground mobile mining equipment from start to finish.

About the Role:
• This is a hands-on coordination role where you will manage multiple jobs at once, liaise with clients, and work closely with supervisors, fitters, and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered to a high standard safely, on time and on budget.
• Experience on Caterpillar, Sandvik, Epiroc and Normet underground mining equipment is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, schedule, and manage mechanical jobs from quote to completion
• Coordinate labour, parts, subcontractors, and equipment
• Liaise with clients, site contacts, and internal teams
• Track job progress, costs, and timelines
• Manage variations, delays, and priorities
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and site requirements
• Prepare job documentation, reports, and handovers
• Support Workshop Manager and Supervisors, and provide clear job direction

About You:
• Previous experience as a Project Manager, Project Coordinator or Senior Planner working with Underground Mobile Equipment (preferred)
• Strong understanding of workshop operations and job flow
• Mechanical trade background or strong technical knowledge of underground mobile equipment (required)
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Confident managing multiple jobs and deadlines
• Safety-focused with a practical, solutions-driven mindset
• Experienced Fitters with good planning and computer skills who are looking for a change are encouraged to apply

At Performance Mine Mechanical, we’re seeking enthusiastic Fitters, Auto Electricians and a HV Electrician to join our lively team in our Welshpool workshop.

Wanting a change from FIFO and want to return to the city life? Offering a 7/7 roster in our Welshpool workshop.

About the role:
• 7/7 roster Welshpool workshop, days/week off/nights on 12 hour shift.
• Running CAT AD60/2900 and Sandvik DD421/DS421/DL431 rebuilds.
• Family friendly roster in Perth, be home every night and never miss an event.
• FIFO site rate on offer, flat + super.
• 12 months plus of work available.
• We are also after a HV Electrician offering a 7/7 day shift roster.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of excellence.
• Valid Australian driver’s license.
• Relevant Trade Certificate
• Follow safety practices and play a key role in maintaining a safe workplace.
• Only experienced and fully qualified fitters/auto electricians Perth based need apply, we have no means of accommodation.
• Right to work in Australia is a must.
