Say g’day to our newest addition: the fully self-contained motorhome ‘The Frontier’! 💥

We’re thrilled to launch this new vehicle today. A self-contained on-road camper has been high on our wish list (and on our guests’!) for quite some time.

Custom-built on the reliable Mercedes Sprinter, it’s the perfect choice if you’re after a comfortable and fully-equipped vehicle to explore Australia.

Inside, you’ll find a built-in kitchen with a microwave and a 190-litre fridge/freezer, a shower and toilet cubicle, a spacious seating area that converts into a comfy bed at night, plenty of smart storage solutions, and air-conditioning throughout – everything to make ‘The Frontier’ your home away from home.

As you know, safety and personalised service are incredibly important to us. We want every guest to feel special and enjoy a smooth, worry-free trip. You’ll receive a full vehicle demonstration at pick-up, where our friendly depot manager will walk you through every feature - big and small. And if you need help later on, our 24/7 on-hire support is only a call or email away.

We also know there are endless highlights to explore in our vast country. That’s why we include unlimited kilometres as standard, with no one-way fees or remote depot surcharges. Our offering is always all-inclusive, and everything you need for your journey will be ready for you at pick-up. Just bring your clothes, grab some food and you're set for your biggest adventure yet!

✨ 10 Years of RedSands Campers! ✨

A little over ten years ago, Adam came to me with a dream. “I want to build a camper hire business so people from around the world can experience Australia the way we do.”

So off he went - sketching designs, developing strategic plans, and turning our garage into a makeshift depot. We sold a few assets (including our beloved camper!) to fund our very first build, affectionately named "Scotty". ❤️

On 1 November 2015, RedSands Campers officially became a business, and today, we’re celebrating 10 incredible years of adventure, growth, and a whole lot of grit! 💪

It hasn’t always been smooth sailing. There were plenty of long nights, big sacrifices, and even a global pandemic that stopped the world (and almost us). But somehow, we kept going. Those tough years shaped us, and made RedSands what it is today — stronger, wiser, and more determined than ever. 💎

Since 2015, our campers have travelled millions of kilometres across this beautiful country, and tens of thousands of incredible guests have lived out their RedSands adventures. Our RedSands Family just keeps growing - and we couldn’t be prouder. 🌏❤️

To our amazing team.... Daniel, Danny, Danielle, Filip, Finn, Jezz, Leo, Leonie, Louise, Marith, Mark, Ryan, Stefan and Vy. You guys are the heartbeat of RedSands. Thank you for your hard work, passion, and commitment to caring for all of our guests the way you do. 🙌

And to our friends, family, and supporters who’ve been with us from the very beginning - thank you for believing in us. Many of you even have a camper named after you now, so your connection to RedSands is forever on the road.

I’m beyond proud of Adam. For never giving up on his dream, and for managing RedSands with so much passion, professionalism and heart. ❤️ Today we also celebrate our 28 wedding anniversary, so lots to be happy and grateful for!

Another week is soon coming to a close, so it’s high time for another RedSands Family Friday! 👏

This week, we’re thrilled to highlight the fantastic trip Rita and Jan from the Netherlands did with 4WD Rooftop Camper ‘Maggie’.

It was their second RedSands adventure, this time travelling nearly 10,000 km from Adelaide to Perth over the course of almost two months. From Kangaroo Island, the Oodnadatta Track and the Flinders Ranges to the Nullarbor (including a great side trip to Koonalda Homestead) and the beautiful South West of Western Australia, they saw many iconic and diverse spots along the way.

After returning their trusty Maggie, they described their trip as 'truly unforgettable'. The freedom to reach such off-the-beaten-track places was very special; from the breathtaking national parks and remote campsites to the vast open spaces and amazing people they met along the way, endless memories were made.
