I know when I get home, the first question will be: “So… how was Antarctica?”

And honestly, I still don’t quite have the words.

It’s untouched. Peaceful — in a way that feels worlds apart from everything happening elsewhere. Quiet and overwhelmingly beautiful.

I feel incredibly privileged to have experienced it.

A powerful reminder of why I prioritise seeing the world in the first place.
