Just before the long weekend, some incredibly brave students from Methodist Ladies' College and Scotch took on a revitalised 50 Mile Walk 🥾 For the first time ever, the walk was held across the Perth metropolitan area. Departing MLC at 3:45am, stopping for breakfast after 25km, then pushing on through the Canning River, the city, Perth Stadium, Vic Park, Nedlands and Dalkeith, before arriving back at Scotch around 9pm.
Covering an enormous 80km in one day (with a couple of hours rain, no less), this was no easy feat, with blisters and battle wounds to prove it. An incredible display of resilience, teamwork and determination. Congratulations to all involved! 👏

$2,841 secured for Royal Flying Doctor Service WA ✈️ What a way to wrap up Boarding Week 2026! Here's a short recap on some of the activities our Boarders organised.
A big thank you to the Scotch Community for getting around Boarding Week and helping us raise money for such a valuable cause.
For our boarding community the Royal Flying Doctor Service WA isn’t just important, it’s personal.
As part of Boarding Week, our boarders came together to support the RFDS, raising funds across the Middle School and Senior School, including free dress days and the return of a much-loved favourite, the hot gravy roll.
Many of our boys have seen firsthand the impact the RFDS can have in critical moments, which is why this cause continues to matter, year after year.
Thank you to Declan, Daisy, Stacey and Mischa for sharing your stories and highlighting just how vital this service is to so many regional and remote communities.
