JK Carpentry is a local carpentry company that services North of the River. Specialising mainly in external residential work such as timber frame homes, roofing, cladding and linings.

JK Carpentry have an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Carpenter to enter into their team.

This is a great opportunity to join a team dedicated to creating a fun and high quality learning environment where the apprentice can master specialised carpentry skills.

About the Job

The role would consist of assisting the tradesmen in general carpentry including:

Setting out floor frames and stud walls
Nailing, cutting and prepping of materials
Using various power tools
Following OHS policies and procedures
Applying elements of RTO units and learning to the workplace.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will:

1. Demonstrate a genuine interest in the industry
2. Committed to completing your 4-year Certificate III in Carpentry and Joinery
3. Willing to learn and take direction
4. Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
5. Good communication and interpersonal skills
6. Strong ability to work within a team

Must Haves

Drivers License
Pre-apprenticeship qualification (highly regarded, not necessary)

Another roof completed for Cottesloe Constructions.
It will have a custom fascia and gutter.
