If your Split System Air-Conditioner isn't keeping you as warm or as cool as it once was then it probably needs a little bit of TLC. Dust, mould, skin, hair and other debris such as dead mice, yes dead mice (this happens more than you think) block the system.

This makes the air-con 'blow out' contaminated air that can cause and/or exacerbate several health issues such as asthma and other respiratory issues. If you are noticing a 'funny smell', are feeling a little more tired than usual or you are getting headaches a little more frequently then your air-con could be the cause.

Dirty air-conditioners also consume more power due to increased friction etc. This obviously results in a larger power bill, something none of us need. The extra friction etc also impacts on the life of the air-con and may result in increases in maintenance or replacement of the system, costing you a significant amount.
