This impressive shot was captured at a Busselton tourist park this morning after copping 129.8mm of rain overnight! ☔

While the Perth metro wasn't spared, the majority of the 63 requests for SES assistance were in Busselton alone, mostly for flooded homes, damage repair and help with sandbagging.

We aren't out of the woods yet. Part two is expected to hit Perth and the South West this weekend, with heavy rain, hail and damaging winds forecast. Be sure to take extra care on the roads, watch out for fallen trees and power lines, and you know the drill – stay out of floodwaters! 🚙
