A few months ago we let you all know about our collaboration coming up with Mount Hawthorn Primary, creating their new sustainability branding. Well they just launched him today and here he is.
Gunslinger’s had the privilege of working with MHP to create their WES mascot (waste, energy and sustainability).
Mount Hawthorn Primary is working together with CSIRO STEM Professionals in Schools program to join the ClimateClever Initiative. Where they will come up with new ways to reduce the school carbon footprint via cutting energy, waste and water usage.
As a company that cares for the environment it’s been a great way to help further sustainable living with in our local community.
WES has three components branded in the school colours:
Sustainability Super hero’s (focussing on teaching the children sustainable practises), The Power Rangers (to help enforce smart energy practises), and Waste Free Warriors (educating kids on how to be waste free by phasing in one day a week where the children bring in waste free lunches).
Great work Mount Hawthorn Primary 🌟👌🏾🌱

These take us back down memory lane. This was our designer Pippa’s first ever Mac. Boy how tech has changed since then!

Just a teeny sneaky peek at that awesome gradient trend we mentioned we did for Perth Bookkeeping Professionals.
Their logo had the striking colour combo of magenta to blue in a gradient which resulted in the turq and lilac shades in between. Which was a prefect stepping stone for us to emulate the gradient trend that makes this header image so striking 😮

CASE STUDY: Eden Dance Institute
We've just had the pleasure of collaborating with Lauren from Eden Dance Institute on her rebrand.
From our first meeting it was very clear that she wanted a strong, confident logo that embodied the big vision she had for her dance school.
We loved that! For us business is ALL about the big picture, the dream and the vision you have for you business, not only now but as you grow and your baby develops into all you imagined it to be in the early days scribbling down your hopes and dreams around the kitchen table.
Lauren wanted a logo that had elements of dance but none of the frufru frills and sparkles that often goes long with the industry. There needed to be a crest and an element of sophistication.
So our design team set to work, researching top dance schools like Juilliard, elite private school crests and ways to interpret the movement of dance.
We incorporated the gorgeous silhouette Lauren already had and created a wrought iron like free form type crest. The spaces between the dancer and the crest lines were specifically intentional to show freedom of movement and give the impression that the dancer had room to move and express herself.
It was an absolute pleasure working with Lauren on this design. Being part of a rebrand is such a privilege, and super exciting no matter how many times we do it. Each new creation is always unique and when it's done right, embodies the very essence of not only where the brand is now but where the business owner envisages it growing to in the future.
