Well, the choice of lens is everything.

See how the focal length changes the entire composition and facial geometry? Going from a flattering 85mm to a wide-angle 16mm isn't just a zoom, it’s a completely different look and each choice comes its own focal lenght and lens distortion.

Understanding these subtle shifts and how a lense can make a subject look and come across is an important detail that can't be overlooked in the production process.

The language we use matters.

We recently partnered with the Department of Health’s Women and Newborn Health Service to produce a series of training modules supporting neurodivergent women through the perinatal journey.

This project was about more than just delivering information; it was about accuracy, compassion, and trust. To ensure the content was genuinely helpful, the project was co-designed by a group of individuals with lived experience to shape the project scene by scene.

There is a huge value in slowing down to get it just right. When the topic is important and impacts peoples lives, thoughtful design isn't just an option; it’s a requirement.

Visual storytelling is about more than just capturing a space; it’s about capturing a feeling.

Our latest collaboration with Willing for the launch of 139 Lake was about finding a way to portray the vibe and mood of the area. Both in how the footage was captured and how it all came together in a slight arthouse feel edit.

Moving through Perth’s cultural heart of Northbridge, from the morning ritual at Chu Bakery to the evening glow of Shadow Wine Bar we aimed to showcase a lifestyle that is fluid, creative, and unmistakably local.

Huge thanks to the team involved!
