Although not the focus of my only 3d printed case, I wanted to try the classic magnetic solutions that many other designers have used. This green stuff world 'rubber steel' sheet is expensive, but it does work pretty well.

I've heard that the cheaper magnetic sheet isn't strong enough for holding you precious minis down. The next step will be to try some proper steel sheet. I'm hoping to create a way to secure the sheets without glue. That way, there will be no mess and the sheets can be reused easily.

You will also notice the addition of a non foldable handle. What do you think so far?

The theory behind this newest V4 snap lock tray is that a thicker secondary part reduces the amount of flex and thus avoiding any minis moving once clamped. Your results may differ to mine, and I would be keen to hear any feedback you have. Does this new system actually improve the usefulness of non-magnetic mini storage?

You will also notice that I've added a print in place folding handle. I'll be trying to make a separated handle so we can easily vary the colour arrangement of the parts.

An internal door has been test printed and this is a great proof of concept for adding a clear panel later.

Also, we are experimenting with some containers that can fit into the existing slots. What items would you want to store alongside your minis in a case like this?
