Our neuro community has described Outreach as a place they go to have fun, have a good laugh, and create new friendships, but at the heart of it all, Outreach is a place for connection. Naturally, its new name, 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭, perfectly encapsulates this beloved service that brings together our Clients, staff and wider community 🥳

Last week, we celebrated the new name in style with special themed events across each hub, ranging from beach party, camping, Mamma Mia, '80s retro, outer space, and taking flight 🏖️👽✈️

Each Connect hub was also bestowed with its own hub colour! And to top it all off, special t-shirts were prepared for each Client with their own unique identifier on the back 👕

It was so special to celebrate the new name with our community. Thank you to everyone who got involved!

Our team had the privilege of joining Janet, her husband George, and her support network on Global MND Awareness Day (21 June) to honour her 15-year journey with motor neurone disease. Inspired by the iconic Big Freeze campaign, everyone proudly wore a FightMND beanie 💙

Janet's husband, George shared, "Janet has had many lovely people looking after her personal and medical needs. She is not only much loved by family and friends, but also by all of the support staff."

Standing alongside sector organisations - Enable Western Australia , Cam Can, and Motor Neurone Disease Association of WA - moments like this highlight the importance of coordinated care and collaboration to improve client outcomes!
