Happy Mother’s Day 🌸
Being a mum is the greatest gift in my life and I’m so thankful for my boys every single day. But Mother’s Day also brings a sadness that never really goes away when your own mum isnt here to celebrate with.

I often wonder how different my life would have felt if I still had her to call, lean on or simply share these moments with.

So today I’m holding gratitude and grief at the same time — and I know I won’t be the only one 🩷

New year, new followers… time to re-introduce myself & share a few fun facts.

♡ Owner & only employee of Sticky Treats (yes, I do it all!)
♡ Caking is my happy place. I love making pretty cakes & then overthink every tiny detail.. (because..perfectionist)
♡ Background music while I’m caking? Almost always old-school RnB
♡ At home I’m outnumbered by boys — my supportive hubby, two gorgeous/feral kids (9 & 11) & our cavoodle Archie… who is often my favourite!
♡ I am a certified night owl who refuses to sleep to get some 'me time'
♡ I overthink everything but pretend I’m chill
♡ My camera roll is 90% cakes, 10% kids & dog
♡ Plot twist:I can’t eat gluten, so I bake desserts I’m not allowed to eat. Cruel!
♡ I have an unhinged sweet tooth & would 100% eat dessert for dinner
♡ A lifelong love of pretty things, now baked into every cake!
