Absolutely, the duck’s nuts! I am not normally one to proselytise tool brands, but I’ve now had this Veritas PM-V11 blade in my No 5 for several years now, and its performance blows me away compared to anything else Ive tried. For me, a distant second is my Clifton HCS blade - also a darn good blade. This blade’s edge just hangs in there, and when it comes to sharpening time, it’s a breeze. I love it !
