Mum was worried Zaxon and Zetlan would be shy on their shoot. Luckily we've got more than a few tricks up our sleeve, and those initial shy hugs? Absolutely gorgeous.
There's something very special about the family bond when your kids are this little. It's just a little magical. 🌾🧡

Meet Tilly.
Five months old, four breeds deep (maltese x shih tzu x chihuahua x jack russel, in case you were wondering), and absolutely rocking those ears.
She's scrappy and fluffy and completely her own thing, and we were absolutely smitten. What Tilly did not tell us ahead of time was that she'd eaten a bee and had been losing fur. Thankfully she bounced back fast and rocked her shoot like the adorable fluffball she is. 🐝🐾

The biggest smile, and so much pride in her new baby brother.

It’s such a special age where you can really see it written all over their face.

Hello! I’m Lisa, I started Lilypad Photography 17 years ago and still LOVE what I do. Photographer, chief memory maker, lover of good coffee, naps, and perfectly imperfect Mum of two hoomans and one furbaby!

I am passionate about ensuring your family’s story is documented with beautiful photographs And just as importantly, I want to make sure YOU exist in your family’s story too.

My love for photography goes back a long way. Mum was always the one with the camera in her hands, snapping photos of my sister, brother, and me as we grew up. First smiles. First steps. First birthdays. First days at school. Mum and her camera were always there. It wasn’t long before my love affair with photography began and we had two “happy snappers” in the house.

When I was 24, my Mum unexpectedly passed away.

Looking back through those treasured family photo albums, I realised that the great photos of her and I together were few and far between. One of us was always taking the photo.

While I can’t go back in time and take more photos of my Mum and myself, I can start with you and your family.

This is why I do what I do.

My mission is to ensure EVERY family in Perth has beautiful family photographs that document their life story as their family changes.

So that’s me, but I couldn’t possibly achieve my mission of photographing every family in Perth without an amazing, like-minded, family-loving team that is just as passionate about my mission as I am.
