One of the biggest challenges I’ve set myself as an artist has been drawing people underwater.

Capturing the subtle skin tones, light, movement and emotion beneath the surface pushed me well outside my comfort zone, but that’s exactly why I wanted to do it. Rather than making the divers the main focus, I experimented with scale placing them as tiny figures drifting through larger-than-life seascapes to tell a story about the vastness and beauty of the ocean💛🌺

This post is a little behind-the-scenes collection of that journey. It includes finished artworks, early concepts, designs that never made it to the public, product ideas that stayed in my sketchbook, and some of the creative process behind bringing these underwater worlds to life🫶🏼🐚✨

Sometimes the pieces no one sees are just as important as the ones that make it into the collection🩵🌴🐚🌺💛🦀🐢🖼️🛍️🖊️💙🌊
