National Simultaneous Storytime - Luna Roo the Kangaroo Baller🦘

On the 27th May our service participated in the National Simultaneous Storytime. This is an annual event that brings over 2 million Australians together to read the same book at the exact same time. It is carried out by libraries, schools, early learning centre's, and homes nationwide.

The chosen book for 2026 was 'Luna Roo the Kangaroo Baller' written by Adam Jackson and Adrian Lloyd, and illustrated by Jake Minton. The book is an energetic underdog story about an outback kangaroo and her friends chasing their football dreams.

The campaign aims to promote the value of reading, literacy, and community while celebrating talented Australian authors and illustrators.
