Join Aussie JetSetter as he reviews Virgin Australia's relatively infrequent and little heard about seasonal summertime direct service between Perth and Launceston, Tasmania operated by its smaller Boeing 737-700 aircraft which is just one of nine in the airline's fleet of mainly Boeing 737-800 aircraft!

In this unexpected part two of my recent journey between Perth and Launceston due to our original flight having to turn back to Perth due to radio control issues I examine how Virgin Australia dealt with this most unexpected of contigencies which required the organisation of a replacement aircraft and crew to fly us to Tasmania.

During the flight Itself I showcase what you can expect in business class on one of Virgin Australia's relatively few and recently retrofitted (with business class) ex KLM Boeing 737-700 aircraft. I assess everything from the ground experience in Perth, to the onboard leather recliner seating and the onboard food and beverage service and whether this replacement aircraft service had a detrimental impact on the overall business class experience.
