We had lots of fun last month with Mat Sessions at Mumma Bee!
Organised by Meerilinga Hilton, families joined together in songs and stories every Monday. It was great to see the children engage with these elements of our Early Learning Program, with parents/carers also doing fantastic work to stay present and enjoy the morning with their children and community.
The feedback from families has been really good and we're excited to announce that the next Mat Session will resume on Monday 13 July 📅 and will take place each fortnight.
Stay tuned for further updates to Mat Sessions by following us on social media!
p.s. thank you to C&CO Real Estate and MAXXI Burger for allowing us to encroach on your space - these sessions were bigger than we could have hoped for!

Being small makes a big difference.
Our Hilton service has a single classroom with a maximum of 20 children. This means our Educators have the chance to know and care for your child, rather than losing them in the crowd.

Congratulations to Annmarie for 3 years at Meerilinga Hilton!
Our local Early Learning Program is still young, growing alongside our established parenting and community services to meet Hilton’s need for not-for-profit Early Learning. We might be small but we’re making a big impact and Annmarie’s passion for care and education is a significant part of that story.
Thank you for everything that you’re doing for the families of Hilton, Annmarie!

What’s brown, sticky and eats eucalyptus leaves?
One of Meerilinga Hilton’s famous stick insects, of course! Taking care of these small creatures teaches our children responsibility for life and our natural environment, while providing exciting moments as they climb across our children’s hands – sometimes even hanging upside down!
Each term, Educator Annemarie takes our Hilton class through the life cycle of insects and uses our eclectic range of stick insects as a practical way to demonstrate this part of our curriculum.
We have places available in our Hilton class for those looking for a small, trusted not-for-profit to care and educate their children. Contact us for a tour!
