Changes are afoot off the coast of Perth. Some pretty cute additions to today's crew.

186 St George's Terrace - Stage 1 ceiling removal.
With new owners 186SGT is up for a makeover. The first port of call for this project was the removal of the suspended ceiling.
Approx 5000 panels over seven floors and 4,500m2 were removed and undamaged for reuse. And then the real fun began 😂😂.
Vacuuming, vacuuming and more vacuuming. With the carpets only recently being replaced my first thought was "You're gonna need a bigger boat!"
Well that didn't happen and instead I spent two whole days ensuring every single inch of that new carpet was free from a single speck of dust.

The last few months have been pretty hectic to say the least.
Fortunately I've been able to avoid the ⛈️ and transition my work to a more sheltered environment.
Le Bakehouse at Armadale Central is the most recent of the six big projects we've completed recently. Requiring a complete de-fit and strip-out it was heavy, noisy, dusty and thoroughly enjoyable work.
Completed over four days we started at 3:30am each day to minimise any inconvenience to neighbouring stores and customers.

I recently had the opportunity to take my skills inside and avoid the ⛈️ for a few days.
With labour short on the ground across many industries a local shop fitters scheduled works didn't allow them to demolish this coolroom without delaying other projects.
I was given the keys and 72hrs to get it down and get it out.
A few late nights and early mornings later and the job was completed on time and within budget😁

Stage 1 complete!
This Jarrah and Galvanised Steel planter is 1 of 2 that will form the ends and foundation of a custom galvanised steel grape arbor and garden bench seating.

Stage 2 will see the second smaller planter completed before the seating between the two is installed in stage 3. Finally the galvanised steel arbor will be installed before the boxes are filled, reticulation installed and finally planting.
