New restrictions are now in place for anyone entering Western Australia.

Unless exempt, ALL arrivals to Western Australia now must self-isolate for 14 days.

That applies regardless of whether they arrive by road, rail, air or sea.

If you were looking to come to Western Australia for a holiday - don't.

And if you're a West Aussie coming home - make sure you are prepared to self-isolate for 14 days.

Exemptions will apply to essential services and workers, including health and emergency services, defence and policing, mining, oil and gas workforces, flight crews and freight of essential goods, via ports and trucks.

There will also be exemptions granted on compassionate grounds and where people live near border communities.

These measures will be inconvenient for many, but these are extraordinary times.
