Today in speech therapy, we became emotion detectives — using a ninja magnifying glass to hunt for clues about feelings, facial expressions, body language and perspectives.

Play-based learning creates safe, engaging opportunities to build emotional awareness, inferencing and social communication skills… all while having fun. 💛

Christmas can be an overwhelming time for everyone.
Busy schedules, unfamiliar environments, and changes to routine can make it harder for children to feel settled.

Keeping simple, predictable routines can help:
• same mealtimes
• familiar activities
• clear beginnings and endings

When routines are in place, children feel safer — and when children feel safe, communication is more likely to happen 💛
