What’s in Rigby’s forage box! 🌿🐰🐇

Do you have a bunny friend and need some ideas for enrichment activities? Here’s a fun one for you, I bet you already have everything you need too!

Ingredients:
-Paper shopping bag (try to find one with as little ink on it as possible)
-Paper towel or toilet paper roll
-Bun’s favourite pellets
-fresh basil and parsley (a great treat for buns in moderation!)
-their usual greens (we used Pak Choy today!)

Method:
Cut paper bag down short enough for bun to jump in and out without your forage mix falling out. Rip up the rest of the bag into strips, making sure to leave printed logos out. Cut toilet roll into strips creating cardboard rings. Place rings inside one another and fill with pellets. Get creative with the “toppings” but always make sure to double check if treats are safe for rabbits! Give everything a mix and tada! Bunny enrichment heaven 😌

Our tiny future pet care and education ambassadors 💞 these two marshmallows with legs will one day help teach our visitors a lot of important things before they bring their own bunny friends home.

Rabbits are still unfortunately one of the most misunderstood exotic pets and require specific care. We will be doing everything we can to make sure you feel prepared for your new addition to the household and have all the information you need to ensure a happy, healthy life for your bunny! This includes methods of bonding with bunnies so you can experience the love a rabbit’s trust brings!

We are not currently selling baby bunnies and encourage you to check out perths rabbit rescues! We will however have all of the things you need to keep your hopper happy!
