Hi Friend!

I’m Gabrielle, I’m the twenty-something brains behind the operation that is Gabrielle Jean Media!

My journey started in the virtual realm when I started slowly assisting small businesses with their social media strategy and implementation as favours. One fateful evening while scrolling through my own social media, I came across a video posted by a Social Media Manager. She explained what her role entailed, as well as the many benefits, such as the freedom it gave her. Realizing this aligned with my values and the work I was already doing, Gabrielle Jean Media was founded!

My origin story starts in the beautiful Perth Hills. Growing up, I was homeschooled alongside my siblings in my childhood home. At the age of 10 years old, my parents decided to pack up shop and take me and my two other siblings travelling - this being possible with the flexibility of our education. It was on this trip where I realized I was never destined to have a 9-5 job, climbing the corporate ladder, with no flexibility or freedom to explore. No, thanks! I knew that whatever I did, I wanted the ability to move around, try new things, and grow at my own pace.

In the years 2016- 2020, I was establishing my presence in the hospitality industry and had an amazing career that had really taken off. I was working in a management role at a local cafe, and I was awarded Maitre’D at the Hospitality Youth Showcase in 2018 and worked in some amazing venues. In early 2020, I undertook a course in Event Management and Business, halfway through I had gotten a job in the industry as a wedding planner and absolutely fell in love with the industry and the people in it.

My dream now is to be an asset to as many people as I can working with people in the industry I love. doing a job that is not only rewarding but aligns with who I am and how I want to treat others!
