Sunday 1st March saw the Perth APG Yearling Sales conducted, and i have to say WOW. I have been attending the Perth Yearling Sale for over 25 years, and never seen one so strong.
Demand was big and so were the prices. Of the 133 lots for sale, 90 were purchased for $3.7 Million. An average of $41,167 per lot.
Filly Summary, 42 of 70 Lots Sold..
Sale Total: $1,607,500.. Clearance Rate: 60.00%..
Colts & Gelding Summary.. 48 of 63 Lots Sold..
Sale Total: $2,097,500.. Clearance Rate: 77.42%.
Seven lots sold for over $100,000 and the Top Sale was the Downbytheseaside USA -Tenniele Erin filly that sold for $200,000,
who is the full sister to the 2 Year Old fillies sales winner on Friday night at Gloucester Park -Seaside Serenade.
