💆♀️💚 Caring for the Carers 💚💆♂️
When your child is in hospital, it's easy to forget about your own well-being.
Long days, sleepless nights, uncomfortable chairs, stress, worry and constant vigilance can take a huge toll on both the body and mind.
That's why Hero Hunter Foundation proudly provides complimentary remedial massage sessions for parents and carers on Ward 1A at Perth Children's Hospital.
Sometimes, just 15 minutes is enough to release tension, ease aching muscles and provide a moment to simply breathe.
One parent recently told us:
"That 15 minutes was the only time all week that I had focused on myself."
Supporting a child through treatment is one of the toughest journeys a family can face. While we can't take away the worry, we can provide small moments of comfort and care along the way.
A huge thank you to our wonderful massage therapist, and our generous sponsors who help make this program possible. Your kindness is helping carers feel seen, supported and cared for when they need it most.
Because when we care for the carers, we care for the whole family. 💚

After two and a half months of Hero Hunter Day events, celebrations, fundraisers, dress-up days, mullet chops, workplace challenges, school activities and community support, we can finally share the result...
✨ **$49,820 raised for Hero Hunter Day 2026!** ✨
We are absolutely blown away.
To the thousands of students, teachers, workplaces, gyms, community groups, families and individuals who wore green, donned a cape, hosted an event, bought a raffle ticket, made a donation or simply helped spread the word — thank you.
Hero Hunter Day is so much more than a fundraiser. It is a day where communities come together to stand beside families facing childhood cancer and blood disorders and remind them they are not alone.
Every dollar raised will go directly towards providing practical support for WA families, including meals, fuel vouchers, parking assistance, cleaning services, home maintenance and so much more.
Hunter's legacy continues to shine brighter every year because of each and every one of you.

🩸❤️ National Blood Donor Week ❤️🩸
This week, we celebrate the incredible people who roll up their sleeves and help save lives.
As a childhood cancer charity, we know firsthand just how important blood donations are. Children undergoing cancer treatment often rely on regular blood and platelet transfusions throughout their journey. Without donors, many of the treatments that save lives simply wouldn't be possible.
We are incredibly proud to share that Team Hero Hunter has collectively made:
🩸 73 Whole Blood Donations
🩸 143 Plasma Donations
That is an incredible 648 life-giving donations from our amazing community.
Every donation represents hope. Hope for a child receiving chemotherapy. Hope for a parent sitting beside a hospital bed. Hope for families facing some of the toughest days of their lives.
To every member of Team Hero Hunter who has donated blood, plasma or platelets—thank you. Your generosity is making a difference to families across Australia every single day.
