Because more dogs than ever are finding their way to the local pound.

So naturally the pound has seen an increase in both adoptions 😃 and euthanasia 😢
of healthy dogs.

The importance of sterilisation before adoption of dogs FROM the pound is being proposed as a way to help reduce the amount of dogs going INTO the pound.

Birds and the bees 101 but hey, credit where it's due.
The shift from 'cull more' to 'sterilise more' is
one of those penny drop moments 🪙

And hopefully they'll keep dropping until sterilisation becomes front and centre.
Because that's the way to save pennies
(and dogs) in the long run 👍
