We hope you all enjoyed Planted 2026 as much as we did!
It was such a pleasure to be able to bring together some of our favourite local businesses and non-profits alongside our thrift market.
The hugest of thanks to all the people involved who made it possible, our brilliant volunteers, bakers, clothing donors and the organising team who have spent months working to bring this together.
If you have any great photos from the event, please share them in the comments below.

You might have noticed we’re pretty keen on doing our bit to reduce the human burden on our planet.
Events can produce a lot of waste and we aim to manage that as responsibly as possible. The best way is to avoid the waste all together by ditching single use packaging.
If you’re grabbing food or beverages at Planted, the majority of our stallholders will have GO2CUP reusable serveware available. Once you’re finished, please return your serveware to the waste station located in the middle of our market at John Macmillan Park.
If you plan to get takeaway, please consider bringing your own reusable containers.
All remaining food waste, recyclables and general waste can be taken to the waste station too, our team will sort it to maximise diversion from landfill.
Thanks for helping us to do community events better. 🫶

Our Mad Hatter's Tea Party on the weekend was an absolute blast, filled with fun, delicious treats, and whimsical charm!
Thanks to everyone who joined us, we raised almost $2,000 to support the 2027 Perth Vegan Expo.
We had a full house, and it was fantastic to see so many guests embrace the Mad Hatter theme with such imaginative costumes – our winner even crafted theirs from NINE packs of playing cards!
Mad Hatter Marc kept the entertainment flowing whilst everyone enjoyed a steady supply of tea, bubbles, and goodies. The quiz might have been a bit too easy with all those winners, but everyone loved their prizes.
Huge thanks to WHIP Patisserie Perth, Caring Kitchen Perth , and Loving Hut Perth for the amazing cakes and savouries!
We always have such a great bunch of guests and such fun. Maggie is already planning the next high tea for Christmas!
