Security Alert | Fortinet Firewall & VPN Credential Compromise
Australia's Cyber Security Centre (ASD's ACSC) has issued an urgent advisory about an active campaign targeting Fortinet firewall and VPN devices using stolen credentials. If exploited, attackers can gain remote access to your network, and alter security settings without being detected.
If you're an Integrated ICT managed client our team has already reviewed all affected environments and confirmed they're secure.
If you manage your own Fortinet devices, act now:
✅ Rotate all admin and VPN passwords
✅ Update your firmware
✅ Enable MFA on all external-facing interfaces
✅ Restrict admin panel access from the internet
✅ Review your logs for unusual activity
