Most NSW Government interviews use behavioural-based questions to assess how you have handled situations in the past. These questions are designed to understand your skills, decision-making and approach to challenges.

Prepare examples from your experience that demonstrate key capabilities, and structure your responses clearly using the STAR method. Strong preparation will help you respond confidently and stay focused during the interview.

Wollongong City Council is one of 38 local governments across NSW that have pledged their support for veteran employment through our program.
