From the Foundation & our CEO:

We are deeply saddened to hear the passing of a great Western Australian artist, Micheal. Micheal donated his time to share his story and journey with us and his message and passion for the arts, from acting and dancing to the circus, still inspires us and the students of the Indigenous Arts Foundation. We send our love, thoughts and condolences to all of Micheal’s family and friends.

Last night, the Indigenous Arts Foundation was invited to Wicked The Musical Australia at Crown Perth for an unforgettable experience! Participants from the Foundation's programs had the amazing opportunity to watch the show and enjoy a special backstage tour with the cast and crew. A huge thank you to Bernadette and the Crossroads Live and Wicked Australia team, including Jay, Ben, Courtney Monsma, and Liam Head! A big thank you also to The Peach & Pineapple Co.!

Experiencing the magic of what happens behind the scenes is so important for young people—it opens their eyes to the many possibilities in the arts, from performance to production. It’s an inspiring reminder that there’s no limit to where creativity can take you. 🌟
