ok but genuinely, the amount of admin people create for themselves by “just chatting in the DMs” is wild. it feels easier until you realise you’ve spent three days going back and forth about something your website already explains. if someone wants to enquire, let them. just make it easy. put the info where it’s meant to live. let your website actually do something besides exist (and cost you money like bih what?!).

your DMs don’t need to be your booking system. use them for what they’re good at: connection. the extra layer. send a voice note once someone’s filled out your form. reply to your booked clients. chat, build vibes, whatever. but admin is not connection. they are not the same thing. stop pretending they are.

and yes, someone might still message asking for prices and that’s fine. it’s always going to happen. just give your website a fighting chance before you volunteer yourself as tribute to the world’s most chaotic inbox.
