At 4 in the morning,
when the world forgets to breathe,
my thoughts walk quietly
to where you are.

The night is honest at this hour—
no noise, no pretending.
Just a heart wide awake, missing you in every second.

Distance lies between us like a long road,
but love, my love, has never learned
how to stop halfway.
It crosses time zones, tired nights,
and unanswered mornings just to reach you.

I imagine your smile
the way dawn imagines the sun— with patience,
with faith that it will come.

If you ever feel alone,
remember this moment:
somewhere under the same sky, at four in the morning, I am choosing you again,
in every thought, in every breath,
in every quiet beat of my heart.

Until the day distance becomes a memory
and mornings begin beside you,
know this—
