⭐️ FOUNDER NOTE

This is my first real post as a founder. 😊

Many of you know I’ve been working on Manini Pay for six years.
I announced launches before, and they didn’t happen.
Not because I quit, but because the technology simply wasn’t ready.

Back in 2020/2021, I was building things that didn’t exist yet.
• Stablecoins were new.
• Solana was new.
• Cross‑border APIs were immature.
• And the Pacific had no digital infrastructure to stand on.

• I was early.
• Way early.

And when funding fell through and I was bootstrapping, I had to stop.
Businesses closed. But I never walked away.

I grew up watching my late mother struggle with ID just to receive money, and halfway through this journey I realised she wasn’t the only one, and that changed everything.

☆ I rebuilt everything from scratch.
☆ I drafted the AUSTRAC Part A and Part B programs.
☆ I prepared the AFSL pack.
☆ I designed the UI.
☆ I built the MVP.
☆ I developed full test protocols, across all devices, platforms...
☆ I created the governance structure.
☆ I strengthened the entire ecosystem and infrastructure behind Manini Pay, the parts no one sees but everyone relies on.

And now I’m bringing in volunteer admin, compliance, engineering students, graduates, retirees, and Pacific professionals to help finalise the foundations for our soft launch later this year.

I was never invited to the table.
So I decided to build the Pacific our own table,
so that one day, we will never be on the menu again.

It’s about discipline, service, and building something our people can trust.
