🐾 Science and Our World: Pets 🐾
In our Kindergarten learning environment, children are exploring what living things need to survive and thrive. Through hands-on experiences, meaningful discussions, observations, and imaginative play, children are developing their understanding of the basic needs of animals, including food, water, air, shelter, and safety.
As they learn about caring for pets, children are building empathy, responsibility, and respect for living things while strengthening their communication, inquiry, and critical thinking skills.
Learning about pets helps children make connections between science and their everyday lives, fostering curiosity about the world around them. 💚🐶🐱
