This litter is special in a way I never expected.

On Easter Friday, we lost Desi’s entire litter. It wasn’t just heartbreaking - it shook our whole home. Desi struggled deeply and needed medication to help her through. As a breeder, people often think it’s about the money… but it’s not. The hardest part was the loss, the grief, the families who had been waiting, and watching Desi - and my kids who had to go through it.

Through the saddness something else happened.

Desi stepped into the role of “great aunt” for this litter. She played with them, helped care for them, and slowly began to heal. Shadow welcomed her with so much love, and together they helped raise these pups alongside me.

These little ones have been there through it all. They laid with us while we cried, while we healed, while we found our way forward again.

From the very beginning, they had a purpose - to bring comfort, love, and healing back into our home.

They truly were meant for this world 💛🐶

🐶🩺 Puppy’s First Vet Visit: What We Check & Why

I have a mobile Vet attend, this is a personal choice, puppies are in their safe environment and makes the experience a lot easier.

That first visit is all about making sure your pup is off to a healthy start ❤️

✔️ Weight & growth
✔️ Heart & lungs
✔️ Eyes, ears & teeth
✔️ Skin & coat
✔️ Tummy & overall comfort
✔️ Parasites (often via stool sample)

👀 It might look simple, but this full check helps catch any early issues before they become bigger problems.

Every puppy deserves a strong, healthy start 🐾

Vet was once again very happy with the condition of the puppies. Claiming "gosh your puppies are always so calm and friendly" and "what do you feed them their coat is so shiney".

I love the compliments, it makes me feel proud of them, and that I'm doing something right.

Only Miss Pink had a little whinge with that huge microchip needle. But can we really blame her??!!

The most petite of all. She is Tri colour Merle. Predominantly Black, White with flecks of Brown.
Today I noticed One of her patches are actually brown 🫣
