AMAZON Scammer Warning:

I play with scammers on a daily basis it's pretty much R&D for me to be honest, it helps me keep you guys safe by figuring out what the guys that are trying to hack you are actually using. I found this one a little interesting because it almost got me.

In between saying various other things, the scammer says I've sent you through a support number. Could you just read it back to me?

If you don't read this message very well, you may just read back the number quickly without thinking about it. But Amazon has a pretty big weakness; in that the scammer, can call you on your mobile number, type the mobile number into Amazon to recover the password and if you just happen to give it to them, bang there in. ENABLE Multi Factor Authentication everywere people.

If you receive a request from PayPal for money, and then a message from a scammer, pretending to be paypal, please be wary.

The customer proceeded to cancel the request for money which intern notified the scammer. He was aware of the money transfer. The scammer, then pretend to be paypal yet again, saying “the money has gone through”. The customer calls the scammers number and four hours later, the accounts are drained using Remote Desktop software installed by the customer. The scammer blanks out the screen reasonably briefly to do the transfers of funds and continues along his merry way to the next bank account.

Everyone likes a bit of chocolate right? Yeah.. nah, but not in your computer! Remember to keep chocolate out of your computer bag, not only is it the worst type of liquid spill I've ever seen, chocolate that gets hot and melts and keeps running out and doesnt dry up is extremely difficult to get rid of. Having said that this computer is now working and in pristine condition.
