Such a common response to enquiries... Don't blame your husband, it's not his fault you're window shopping but you can't afford what we offer!

By all means, go find a cheaper breeder. If you are that sort of person you're probably not our target client.

Here's why;

We expect our buyers to care for the cats the way we care for ours. Keeping them healthy costs money. Keeping them happy takes effort and time. Keeping them tidy does require some grooming. Raising them on royal canin/prolan/ivory coat, raw diet and foods like Ziwipeak costs money. Emergency caesarians cost money, and often loose kittens in the process. Showing takes effort, Time and investment in better lines constantly.

My first ragdoll lived to 18. We literally travelled around the world together, he had many borrowed lives from getting himself into trouble that I had to fix (stitch ups, icu stays after being locked in a garage, cat fight wounds obtained inside and a broken leg from a fall), severe medical reactions that involved blood transfusions and daily fluid therapy at his end of life care. I still cry sometimes when i miss him.

If you buy from me, I expect your cat to live to 18 and have the same emotional investment I put into them. So sure; ask your husband. And while you do that, I'll find buyers who see the value in my kittens!
