Tummy time fun from WalkyTalky_Baby!

Tummy Time 17/12/2019

Guess what our physio Alison has been up to on her maternity leave... check out walky Talky baby for advice from Ali and Paediatric Speech Pathologist Chiara for supporting babies in their early years with speech and gross motor development.

Tummy time should always be comfortable for Baby AND Mum!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Young babies can be placed on the mat but might be more comfortable on your body. A soft surface, a gentle slope and support around the shoulders will make this position more comfortable for Baby. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
BUT Mums make sure you’re comfy too! This is us day 1 home from hospital and I certainly wasn’t up to floor sitting myself! Back support and a soft surface were what I needed to assist Baby F in tummy time pain free... make sure you look after yourself! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
