Hi Invision Team,
I hope you're all settling in for the evening.
I've just been made aware that my booking system, Cliniko, is currently experiencing a worldwide outage. I've been assured that this is not a security breach or hack, and that all client data is safe and secure.
Unfortunately, it does mean I currently have no access to my appointment diary, and you won't be able to make bookings online until the issue is resolved.
The Cliniko team is working to restore the service as quickly as possible. I'll let you know as soon as I'm updated, and I'll keep you informed once everything is back up and running.
Thank you so much for your patience and understanding. đź’›

Well... I'm back! đź’›
Firstly, thank you for your patience while I was on leave and overseas. I'm slowly making my way through messages and returning everyone's enquiries. If I haven't replied to you yet, or I've accidentally missed your message, I sincerely apologise. Please don't hesitate to send me another message.
I've had a look through the diary, and it seems I'm booked out for the next few weeks. But don't despair! If you're hoping to get in sooner rather than later, I'm more than happy to add you to my cancellation list and do my best to find you an appointment.
Our trip was a long time coming. It was something Keith and I had dreamed about for many years.
I've always felt a special connection with Japan. Ever since I was a little girl, my mum instilled in me a love and appreciation for the country, its culture and its people. There is something incredibly beautiful about a place where respect, kindness and tradition are so deeply woven into everyday life, while also being one of the world's leaders in technology and innovation. The pride they take in themselves, their communities and their environment is something I truly admire.
Yes, Japan is busy and vibrant, but it also has this incredible sense of tranquillity.
One moment that will stay with me forever was when Keith and I walked up a mountain to visit a temple. There was complete silence. No talking. No shoes scuffing along the ground. Just stillness.
For what felt like the first time in a very long time, our minds stopped racing. There was no overthinking, no constant mental load. Just peace.
It wasn't the only place we experienced that feeling throughout Japan, but it was certainly one I'll never forget.
When I think back to where I was just over eight weeks ago—being in and out of hospital and unable to walk—to then walking up a mountain in Japan... it's honestly hard to put into words.
At one stage, we genuinely didn't think this trip was going to happen.
I followed the advice of my doctor, physiotherapist and massage therapist. Did I overdo it at times? Absolutely! Most of you know me well enough to know I like to push the limits. Sometimes that works in my favour... sometimes it doesn't. I definitely didn't come home completely unscathed, but my body did far better than I ever expected. I also had a husband who knew exactly when it was time to call it a day and kept me in check when I needed it most.
I want to say a heartfelt thank you to the people who helped get me there.
To Tom from Murray Motion Physiotherapy—you may be hard to get an appointment with, but there's a very good reason for that. You're bloody brilliant.
To Ben from BFlexin Remedial Massage—having someone who had been through almost the exact same injury less than a year before me meant more than you probably realise. Thank you for your support, encouragement and understanding.
To my husband Keith, my kids, my dad, my sister, my extended family, my friends and my wonderful clients—thank you for checking in on me, keeping me accountable and reminding me to look after myself.
I'm so grateful.
Now it's time to get back into the clinic, doing what I love. I can't wait to see you all again. ❤️

Health Update... it's a long story!
It’s been a bit of a crazy week, I must say.
Not one hospital trip… but four in total. One in an ambulance. A whole new experience for me.
And a super big apology to my daughter, husband, and father, whom I scared the absolute bejesus out of.
Friday was the kicker. The swelling through my back and right leg had become so severe it was restricting circulation through my leg, and the ambulance officers, doctors, and nurses struggled to find a pulse in my right foot.
Thankfully, that was dealt with pretty quickly with medication, but it was a very scary couple of hours.
While there, I received the CT results from the scan I had on Wednesday. I have a herniated disc in my L4/L5/S1.
This isn’t exactly new information for me, as I’ve been struggling with sciatic pain on and off for a number of years now. The difference now is that the herniation has become so severe that it’s touching the nerve controlling my right leg.
From there, they wanted me to have a minor procedure where they inject a steroid directly into the area where the nerve is being compressed by the herniation.
Murray Bridge couldn’t get me in for another month, and Mount Barker couldn’t get me in for three weeks.
That simply wasn’t an option for me.
I haven’t been able to sleep for more than two hours at a time. Walking more than five metres was excruciating, and sitting only added more compression through the spine.
My husband — the superhero he is — rang around the entire state trying to get me in sooner.
He managed to get me into Gawler Hospital yesterday morning.
Unfortunately, sitting in the car for five minutes, let alone over an hour, was not my idea of a good time. We got there, and the procedure itself also wasn’t exactly my idea of fun, but focusing on the end goal got me through.
Miraculously… I can walk again. Yay!
Not without pain, but tolerable pain.
From here, I’ve been told not to get my hopes up too much. This isn’t a fix. It’s something to help reduce the swelling and create a bit of a buffer between the herniation and the nerve.
I’ll still be on pain relief, nerve blockers, and anti-inflammatories for some time, and I’ll need months of different therapies to get stronger and back to full health.
Luckily, I know a lot of great therapists!
The good news is that over the coming days I’ll slowly be getting back into the clinic.
The best thing for me mentally is getting back to you all and doing what I love.
Physically, though, I will be doing things a little differently so I don’t aggravate the injury further.
Please bear with me while I get back into the swing of things. There may be days where it all becomes a bit much for me, but I’ll let you know as soon as I can.
I do apologise in advance if I need to reschedule appointments here and there.
Lastly, my phone has been inundated with calls and messages of love and support, which has been incredible. It truly is something special, and I appreciate every single one of you ❤️
