Whether you’ve recently left school, looking for a new career or returning to the workforce, our traineeship program will really set you up for a fun and rewarding new career.
As a trainee, you will work alongside experienced educators, learn on the job, and earn while you learn. You will attend a class one evening a week to complete your Certificate III, and work at our early learning service 30 hours a week so you will have time for Self-Study.

To give you the best start in your new career, the Early Childhood Traineeship Program includes being guided by a mentor from Happy Trails ELC and supported by a Rowe Training facilitator who will ensure you learn the theory and can apply it in your day-to-day work.
The Territory early childhood sector is growing, with career opportunities available across the Territory there’s no better time to join a sector that is in high demand with potential for career growth right here at Happy Trails ELC start with a CHC30121 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care Traineeship go onto a CHC50121 Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care to be a Group Leader and for those who want to go further complete a Batchelor in Early Childhood Education this leads to a role as an Early Childhood Teacher.

About you:
You don’t need experience in early childhood. Our Early Childhood Traineeship Program is for positive people who are reliable team players, who are committed to their new career and will put in the time to attend class and complete self-paced study.

If you already have or are willing to gain
• An Orche Card /NT Working with Children Clearance
• Motivation to study your CHC30121Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
• Excellent communication skills
• Positive and professional work ethic
