A five goal second half has seen Caloundra Football Club stay in contention for finals in Football Queensland premier league 2.

Pete Hamill opened the scoring in the 54th minute. Mackenar Bradfield doubled the score three minutes later off the assist of Hamill.

Riley Campbell added the team’s third at 64 minutes. Hamill scoring the fourth two minutes later.

Austin Taylor scored Stamford’s only goal at 72 minutes.

Hamill topped off the win with his second goal right on 74 minutes.

Nambour Toads Rugby played Maroochydore Rugby Union Club at Woombye. They ran out winners 45 points to 7.
