⚠️Solar power not working as it should?⚠️
Our customers got in touch as there was a sharp increase in their power bills 📈
We recommended our solar health check service ✅️
We found that this 8 year old system had one faulty solar panel and a broken inverter. 😬
Result - We were able to claim the warranty for the panel on behalf of the customer as the original installer was no longer in business. 👍
The inverter unfortunately was out of warranty but we replaced it with a suitable inverter that now has a new 10 year warranty ☀️
Get in touch with us if you're solar system isn't performing how it should. 👋

Electrical safety is always serious business, especially during a storm. To keep everyone safe, ALWAYS remember the below when cleaning up after floods. You must have hard-wired electrical equipment that’s been in flood water inspected by a licensed electrician before you allow workers to use it.
🔦 Report fallen, low or damaged powerlines to the emergency services or your local electricity distribution entity and stay away from them.
o Ergon Energy on 13 16 70
o Energex on 13 19 62
o Essential Energy on 13 23 91
🔦 Stay away from inundated electrical signs, street lights, and electrical cables.
🔦 Stay away and don’t touch switchboards if they are damaged by water.
🔦 If you have a solar power generating system, avoid getting on the roof unless absolutely necessary and keep away from solar panels and their cables.
🔦 Portable generators should only be used to power essential equipment, such as fridges. Generators can only be connected to your house using a professionally installed generator change-over switch and appropriate socket. Do not connect your generator to your house using a power point on a power circuit or any other connection point. This is very dangerous to you, your neighbours and electrical workers. Only run the generator outdoors or in a well-ventilated area to avoid suffocation from carbon monoxide.
🔦 If rain has got into your ceiling space, you must turn off the main power switch in the switchbox before you head up for a look at the damage. Water and electricity are a very dangerous combination!
🔦 Dispose of or have a licensed electrician repair water-affected electrical appliances, such as PCs, kettles, monitors and fridges.
🔦 Have a licensed electrician check all water-damaged hard-wired electrical appliances, such as air-conditioning units or stoves, intended for re-use before the power supply is reconnected.
Don’t do your own electrical work - it's illegal and dangerous. Always use a licensed electrician.
