Northern Pride Netball Association

We had teams competing across Melbourne today, making the most of a beautiful winter's day.

Our 11&U and 13&U teams travelled to Springvale, where they were greeted by a chilly start and wet courts. Thankfully, the sun soon made an appearance, creating perfect conditions for a great day of netball. Facing some strong opposition, our teams recorded a mix of wins, draws, and a few very narrow losses. Throughout the day, we saw players embrace different combinations, create some fantastic passages of play, and identify areas to continue developing and refining their skills. Most importantly, there were plenty of smiles, laughter, teamwork, and, of course, a whole lot of glitter! Both teams represented our association with pride, and we couldn't be prouder of their efforts. A special thank you to Matt for joining the 13&U Green team as coach for the day. Our umpires for today were Caitlin, Tori, Lee, Robyn & Jen.

Our Open teams headed to the State Netball Centre to compete in the Association Championships. We knew the day would bring tough competition from some of the strongest associations across the state, and our players rose to the challenge. While the scoreboard didn't always reflect the quality of netball on display, the girls gave their all in every match, never stopped fighting, and demonstrated outstanding commitment and determination throughout the day. They should be incredibly proud of the effort and resilience they showed. A huge thank you to Holly, Jade, Jorja, and Michelle for their support and assistance throughout the day. Our umpires for today were Terry & Kelly.
