Forming in the cold, dark depths of Gadubanud Country/The Otways (South West Victoria), now
based in Naarm/Melbourne, The Refuge are a unstoppable force of heavy riffs, emotive vocals,
machine like synchronisation. While The Refuge are a rock band looking influences such as
Queens of the Stone Age, Black Sabbath, Royal Blood and Grunge bands like Soundgarden and
Alice in Chains, they also blend in their love for psychedelic, punk, new wave and old school
heavy metal into their sound. 🎸

Supported by Crimson Caravan - With a lineup as dynamic as their sound—Alex on organ/keys, Fritz on drums, Liddi on vocals and guitar, Mitch on bass, and Scott on lead guitar (with occasional swaps just to keep things interesting)—this band thrives on unpredictability. Their music isn’t about fitting into a mold; it’s about pushing boundaries while staying true to the essence of rock. 🤘
