💙 DOZER IS READY. All he needs now is a home💙

Dozer is a 4-year-old English Bull Terrier with a gentle nature and a huge love for people. 🥰 He loves cuddles, enjoys learning, and already knows Sit, Drop It and Bed. He gets excited when his harness comes out, but settles nicely once he’s on his walk. 🐾

🏡 Dozer is looking for:
🐶 An experienced, pet-free home
👧👦 Children 12+
🔒 A secure yard
❤️ Someone willing to continue building on the great progress he’s already made.

This year alone, 10 new dogs have come into VBTR’s care, on top of the 14 already with us. Finding Dozer his foster (or foster-to-adopt) home would make him our 25th dog this year—and, more importantly, create space for the next Bull Terrier waiting for help. 💙

Could that home be yours? ❤️

🤎 COULD YOU BE BRAX’S NEXT CHAPTER? 🏡✨

Sometimes the very best dogs have the biggest stories to tell.

Meet BRAX 🐾

At 7 years old, Brax arrived in our care from a rural pound carrying far more than anyone realised. An early vet check up determined he needed 12 painful teeth removed and sadly, while under anaesthetic, vets also discovered several mast cell tumours affecting his ge***al area.

The good news? 💙 His cancer is treatable, and his veterinary team is hopeful treatment will be curative. Treatment will be complete by the end of July and Brax will be ready for his next chapter.

His foster carer absolutely adores him, describing him as one of the easiest dogs she’s ever had. 🥹

✨ Calm, gentle and affectionate
🚶‍♂️ A dream to walk on lead
🚗 Loves a car ride
🎾 Enjoys a game of ball without becoming obsessed
🛏️ Sleeps peacefully through the night beside his foster mum
💛 Thinks every person he meets is a new friend waiting to pat him (and honestly… they’re usually happy to oblige!)

Brax has also met plenty of dogs while out and about. Even when other dogs have reacted to him, he’s remained gentle and simply looked a little surprised. Based on his history of living with female dogs, we believe he may happily live with a social female companion following appropriate introductions.

Like many dogs who have spent their lives outdoors, Brax is still learning that toilets belong outside. He occasionally has an accident indoors, but he’s making great progress and is eager to please.

🏡 Brax’s ideal home:
✅ A calm, loving family
✅ A patient home while he perfects his house manners
✅ Could suit life as an only dog or with a social female dog
✅ Secure yard
✅ VIC placement only

📅 Brax will need his new foster or foster-to-adopt home by 5th August.

After seven years of simply existing, we’d love to see Brax discover what it’s like to truly belong. We think whoever welcomes him into their home is going to wonder how they ever lived without him. 🤎🐾
