Goodstart Early Learning Tarneit

During this NAIDOC week our children explored the rich cultures, histories and traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples through a range of meaningful learning experiences.

Across our Nursery, Toddler and Kindergarten rooms, children enjoyed storytelling, music and rhythm with clapping sticks, creating indigenous inspired artwork, exploring traditional symbols and animal tracks, sensory play and lots of conversations about caring for Country.

These experiences encouraged curiosity, creativity and respect while fostering a deeper appreciation for Australia’s First Nations cultures.

At Goodstart Tarneit, we believe these important conversations and learning opportunities help nurture a strong sense of belonging, inclusion and respect values we strive to embed in our everyday learning not just during NAIDOC Week.

Mother’s Day! 🌸💕

Last week celebrated the wonderful mums, caregivers and special people in our children’s lives with an afternoon filled with love, creativity and connection.

From handmade gifts and pamper stations to afternoon tea and special activities, every little detail was created with love by our educators and children.
