This month’s Induction Day saw our newest team members dive right into the fun, connection, and collaboration that make NPS who we are.

With both field and office-based roles represented, the day was about exploring our story. Where we’ve come from, where we’re heading, and the safety mindset that keeps us strong. Of course, no induction is complete without a little friendly competition… cue the marshmallow tower challenge!

We’re backing women in the field 🌟💪

We've kicked-off of our Women in Field program, championed by Bailey Schultz and Tracey Scerri. A grassroots initiative, this program is all about driving conversation, connection, and real change across our field-based team.

At NPS, we believe talent doesn’t come with a gender; it comes with grit, purpose, and the right support behind you. With women making up ~1% of the plumbing workforce, we’re not here to accept that stat, we’re here to rewrite it.

This isn’t about ticking a box. It’s about building a team where every player gets the tools, time, and trust to thrive. Our Women in Field program is one part of a broader game plan to break old stereotypes and open up new pathways in the trades.

A huge congratulations to our very own Anastasia Sarikizis, recognised as the Darebin City Council Young Business Achiever 2025 🌟

At Darebin's breakfast, Anastasia spoke on a panel with fellow nominees before being awarded the Darebin title, a moment that reflects her dedication to our industry and her passion for mentoring women in trades.

Anastasia plays a pivotal role on one of our most valued client teams, and her recognition is a testament to the impact she makes every day. We’re so proud to see her celebrated and can’t wait to cheer her on in December as she goes for the Northern Region title.

FY26, we’re coming in stronger, smarter, and more connected than ever!

A little fiesta at our business update morning tea! 🌮🎉 It was our People, Culture & Safety team's turn to host and they did not disappoint!

From fresh, homemade tacos, a fiesta-themed setup, to a piñata challenge designed to get everyone involved. Each person was given a colour and the chance to nominate someone for a swing 🪅 because what better way to promote teamwork than cheering each other on?

It’s these moments that bring us together, keep things fun, and make HQ a great place to be. Who will be up next? 👀

In May we co-hosted the Digital Metering Industry event, 'Looking Back, Moving Forward' and we are still in awe of the collaboration and support of our industry competitors and partners, this year's line up of sponsors was incredible!

This landmark event for the digital metering industry, brings together key industry players to raise vital funds for WaterAid Australia 💧 The initiative showcased the sector’s shared commitment to global water access and sanitation.

Together, we raised an incredible $31,750 for WaterAid Australia.

We officially kicked off our Induction Day experience, bringing our newest recruits together to dive deeper into who we are, how we work, and what it takes to succeed at NPS 🏆

With our "Play as a Team" value front and centre, the day was more than just an introduction. It was about:

• Building cross-team connections so everyone knows they’ve got a strong bench around them
• Sharing our vision so every player knows the game plan
• And guest visits from a few of our own superstars Margot Allan-Georgas, Andrew Margetts and Guy Palermo

Seeing our newest team members fully engaged from activities to safety discussions, reinforced the power of starting strong, together. As NPS continues to grow, our goal is clear: to be a team people can’t wait to join, and a place where they can bring their A-game every day!
