Limited time offer – buy a controller, get a free engineer.

Okay, let me explain.

But it's not far off.

When you buy any of our controller solutions, you're getting free local support. This doesn't technically include application engineering support, but believe me - we WANT you to succeed.

Therefore we encourage you to pickup the phone and ask us any question you might have so our experienced consultants can point you in the right direction and help you get to production faster.

When you do that, we both win. The product is integrated properly, you're getting to production faster, and since you're selling vehicles we're also selling more VCU's.

Simples.

If you'd like a free engineer*, simply reach out and we'll try and find something in our catalog you can buy so we have an excuse to support you:

(* for legal reasons we have to mention we're not really selling actual people... because that would be illegal...)

The plug war isn’t over.

It's likely here to stay.

A U.S. shift to Type 2 is unlikely: the grid’s lower nominal voltage and limited residential three-phase access don’t suit it. Type 1 addresses this by using fewer, larger contacts to carry more current at lower voltage.

A few manufacturers are switching over to NACS, but NACS has its own shortcomings (single phase charging only), and countries with high availability of 3-phase power probably won't be convinced that NACS is the right direction.

GB/T and CHAdeMO still dominate asian markets.

Clearly, flexibility is key. And if you're an OEM, we've got you covered! Our control solutions support many of these standards on the same SKU:

Type 1,
CCS1,
Type 2,
CCS2 - all stacks; DIN70121, ISO15118-2 and ISO15118-20,
NACS,
GB/T,
CHAdeMO, and
MCS (Megawatt Charging System).

So if you design on our platform, you only need to change a few pins in your wiring harness, a few software flags, and you're ready to export abroad.

That's intelligent design.
