Ultraviolet radiation from the sun is not something that can be seen by the human eye, so the UV index scale is used to determine the level of protection required when spending time in the sun. Overexposure can be extremely damaging to our skin and eyes, and for any index higher than 3, protection is necessary.

Remember, It's not something you can see, but pay attention to UV!
