Avgolemono Soup (aka Greek Lemon Chicken Soup) my go to during chemotherapy.

Nausea is a common side effect of cancer treatment. It can affect your daily life, mental health and physical health.
Your oncology team can prescribe medication to prevent nausea and help with the symptoms 💊

Some food related tips to help with nausea:

1) Small meals or snacks
2) Light bland foods like toast or crackers
3) Eat what you feel like...if you feel like maccas, then have maccas. Cereal for dinner, go for it. Don't force yourself to eat a meal that turns your stomach just because it's healthier.
4) If the smell of cooked or cooking food makes you feel sick 🤢, try to have cold food, or slightly warmed food...
5) Sip liquids slowly throughout the day...stay hydrated 💧
6) Sit upright for a least an hour after each meal

Always let your oncology team know of any symptoms!
